Thanks!

The only french translation of 'rewilding' I know is 'RÉENSAUVAGEMENT'. It is the actual litteral translation. It still sounds kinda funny to my french ears. But maybe it's just me.

I've tried - not hard enough - to find a better translation, but haven't yet.

I appreciate how inclusive your definition of rewilding is. And I am loving the renewed vigor at the College!

Hi Willem,

With my new blog I've decided to focus on the 'construction' part of my participation into the dismantlement of civilization, on relearning, recreating sane and truly viable ways of living.

Of course the 'dismantling effect' it may have on civilization is quite limited as these new and emerging sustainable cultures are still very marginal. But still, like you, and other rewilders, I'm rewilding, or rehumanizing (as I sometimes word it), because it is the only sensible thing to do,
collapse or not. And great! if we get to witness civ vanish in our lifetime. That's icing on the proverbial cake.

To me, this ongoing collapse is very encouraging. Finally! things are starting to get interesting...This Xthousand year old mistake is finally coming to an end.

And I really like your definition of Rewilding. Guess I've been rewilding for a little while then.

Later!
